PRoVOX / EnVOX Export of "cdv" Files

Export Entire Database
  1. Go to EnVOX Top Level of Menu Options.
  2. Select "More" Menu Option.
  3. From "More" dropdown menu, select "Dbase Management".
  4. From Side Menu, select "Export Utility".
  5. Leave Blank the tag/item set.
  6. Enter an Export name (This will be folder name where cdv and tgt files will be exported).
  7. Select "ALL" at top of menu to export all items in Database.
  8. When asked, select "Confirm" to confirm "ALL" export.
  9. Select "Start!" at top of menu to start export program.
  10. When asked, select "Confirm" to confirm "Start!" export. Export will be added to Batch queue for execution.
  11. Wait for message that Batch is completed. (This could take up to 60 minutes.)
  12. The Exported "cdv" files are contained in the EnVOX system under the main folder [00000] in a subsfolder of the Export Name (entered above) with the date attached to folder name.
  13. Using Reflection Transfer File program move "cdv" files from export folder to your local disk directory.
  14. Either Zip the directory or ZIP all "cdv" files.
  15. Send ZIP file to DBStuart@att.net with subject: Migration CDV Files.
Export Selected Items from Database
  1. Go to EnVOX Top Level of Menu Options.
  2. Select "Utilities" Menu Option.
  3. From Utilities dropdown menu, select "Tag Set".
  4. From Side Menu, select "Add" for new Tag Set or "Modify" for existing Tag Set.
  5. On add form at top enter Tag Set Name.
  6. On add form "Source Device" enter device to export such as "IFC101".
  7. Exit out of form and save Tag Set.
  8. Return to EnVOX Top Level.
  9. Select "More" Menu Option.
  10. From "More" dropdown menu, select "Dbase Management".
  11. From Side Menu, select "Export Utility".
  12. On export form "Enter Tag", enter the new Tag Set Name created above.
  13. On export form "Enter EXPORT Name" enter a name for the receiving directory for "cdv" files.
  14. On export form, select menu option "Start!".
  15. When asked, select "Confirm" to start export. Export will be added to Batch queue for execution.
  16. Wait for message that Batch is completed.
  17. The Exported "cdv" files are contained in the EnVOX system under the main folder [00000] in a subsfolder of the TagSet Name (entered above) with the date attached to folder name.
  18. Using Reflection Transfer File program move "cdv" files to local disk directory.
  19. Either Zip the directory or ZIP all "cdv" files.
  20. Send ZIP file to DBStuart@att.net with subject: Migration CDV Files.
  21. Repeat above process for ALL devices to be migrated.
